Latvia Culture College (LCC) – Coordinator – Latvia

Latvia Culture College (LCC), is one of the most experienced and rich in traditional colleges in Latvia. LCC offers modern cultural education according to the demands of the labour market. Currently, LCC provides three professional higher education programs accredited by the State: Culture Manager with specialization in stage arts (theatre and event production), fashion and design management, photo and video production, media production and PR, technical production (light and sound design) and music management; Dance Group Leader with specialization in contemporary dance, modern dance or Latvian folk dance and Library Information Specialist programme.

LCC has coordinated a number of mobility projects and large scale projects under ERASMUS + and other programmes mainly focusing on researching and development of new educational programmes, training materials and methodological recommendations also for vocational training and lifelong learning, development of transnational educational and social networks, interactive websites etc.

LCC also have experience with tripartite co-operation and various researches regarding digitalization and technological innovations in the creative industries sector.

ISMA Vidusskola Premjers – Latvia

ISMA Secondary School “Premjers” was founded in the Year 2000. It works and develops under the guardianship of the Information Systems Management Institute (ISMA). ISMA “Premjers” is a private school with a bit more than 200 pupils and 43 teachers. Our pupils aged 7 – 19 are taught in the three educational levels: primary (grades 1-4), lower secondary (grades 5-9) and general secondary (grades 10-12). The school implements 3 accredited study programs: a program of general education for ethnic minorities (grades 1 – 9), a program of general secondary education for ethnic minorities (grade 12 in the academic year 2020/2021), program of general secondary education (grades 10-11). Since 2018, IB MYP (International Baccalaureate Middle Year Programme) has been implemented, the students are taught all the subjects in English apart from the Latvian, Russian, German and Spanish languages.

Many subjects are taught bilingually (Russian and Latvian) to help the pupils acquire the Latvian language better and be integrated into Latvian society that is why the school is often chosen as a place for studying by pupils from immigrant families and of different nationalities. For these pupils, the school organizes extra lessons of the Latvian language. Besides, the school provides perfect opportunities for learning foreign languages: English, German, Spanish and French. The other priority is STEM subjects, the school provides extra lessons in Mathematics. The average number of pupils in each class is 11 and it allows to ensure the individual approach to every student as well as differentiate the tasks. The pupils of ISMA “Premjers” often take part in various mathematical contests and Science, ICT and Language Olympiads and competitions held both in Latvia and abroad, where they demonstrate brilliant results and win awards. The main goals of our school are to be a welcoming and friendly space for learning, an inexhaustible source of knowledge, a place of friendship and respect, a school of new information and communication technologies, a school of European education in the spirit of democracy, to encourage the students for initiative-taking and creativity, to prevent them from early school-leaving.

Centre for Education, Research and Innovations (CERI) – Bulgaria

Center for Education Research and Innovation /CERI/ has been founded by highly qualified specialists from different Bulgarian Universities and research organisations in order to meet the business needs for the provision of tailored training offers (formal, non-formal and informal learning) along with the rapidly growing recent years urgent need to develop and manage innovation as well as their implementation in the activities and processes of small and medium-sized businesses. The Center has established a set of good practices and high business standards which the organisation has always firmly adhered to. For the success of its undertaking, CERI strongly relies on the excellent performance of its staff who are key experts in the domains such as:

  • Development of relevant training programs and courses in specific topics which are delivered to the end users through variety of methods and approached such as blended methodology, pure online courses, on-the-job training and VET offer;
  • Providing training for employees in SMEs (micro, small and medium sized enterprises);
  • Setting up and provision training for employees in the SEM on the base of modern pedagogical approaches;
  • Provision of professional consultancy ;
  • R&D activities at the department of innovation management methods and instruments for innovation processes which are adjusted and especially adapted to SME requirements.

Profesionalna Targovska Gimnazia (TG) – Bulgaria

High School of Commerce, the first vocational school in Bourgas and the second-oldest business school in Bulgaria, was founded in 1905 and has since become one of the preferred schools in the region.

The school provides training in the following fields: Accounting, Banking, Economics and management, Business administration. The highly qualified teaching staff of the school provide top-quality education in different Business, Economics and Linguistics fields. They are certified to conduct courses that are in high demand.

The students come from Bourgas and its neighbouring towns. They are admitted to the school after passing qualifying examinations in Mathematics and Bulgarian language and literature, so they enrol with a particularly high level of performance and motivation to learn. The graduates receive a diploma in secondary education with a professional designation.

Intensive promotion of foreign languages is in the foreground. Students can choose their first and second foreign languages from the three languages that the school offers: English, German and Russian.

Project-oriented work is well established at the school. The school has participated in some bilateral projects over the years among which: partnerships with Germany, Austria, Turkey, the USA.

The school participates in an innovative international simulation program, where students get to manage virtual companies in various industries. The competition is based on the modern Game Theory where the companies compete against similar entities established in other European business schools (in this case, mainly Austrian business schools).

Panepistimio Thessalias (UTH) – Greece

The University of Thessaly is the only higher education institution in central Greece. After merging with 2 other higher education institutions, the University of Thessaly currently has over 30 departments and enrols 40.000 students, making it the 3rd largest university in Greece. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering enrols 1.000 undergraduate and graduate students and addresses areas that include electronics, energy, hardware, software, networks, and educational technologies. The informal Creative Technologies Learning Lab integrates emerging design, pedagogies, and ICT for generating innovative, rewarding, and effective learning experiences that build the knowledge and skills needed by industry and society in today’s world. The lab has implemented over 35 R&D projects in the area of technology-enhanced learning focusing on diverse aspects such as game-based learning, learning communities, design thinking, simulations, online collaboration environments, and more. In the context of R&D, the lab has working relationships with educational authorities and educational institutions in the area of Thessaly and beyond.

European Training and Research Association for a Cooperation Key to Business (EU-Track) – Italy

EU-Track is a Multidisciplinary Research and Development Center composed of researchers with different backgrounds, mainly geotechnical engineering, nanotechnology and robotics, education-pedagogy, sociology, science education in STE(A)M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).

The strength of our Scientific Committee stands in the multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach combining the academic-scientific and entrepreneurial aspects aimed at the implementation of research activities.

Thanks to our international network including universities, research institutes, business companies, public authorities, training centres both in Europe and in Asia, we strongly promote research and training activities for teachers, young people and professionals focused on innovation and labour market needs.

ITS A. Bianchini – Italy

The secondary high school “Arturo Bianchini” was founded in the 1970s and dedicated to the historian and palaeographer born in Terracina and rewarded by ‘Accademia d’Italia in 1939

During the years, the school has always been able to face the training challenges of a territory that was rapidly changing its cultural identity.
The technical institute is situated in the centre of the city and it consists of a two-story structure recently restructured according to the latest building and safety regulations and it is equipped with physical features that overcome architectural barriers, a great hall, an innovative digital library, a gymnasium and a multipurpose sports field, an athletics track on tartan, an amphitheatre for performances, a wide car -parking and green areas.

The training offer of ITS Bianchini regards the study’s four areas: Administration, Finance and Marketing, Corporate Information Systems, Tourism, and Chemistry. The offer provides young people with legal-economic and scientific-technological training in line with the indications of the European Union. The mission of our Institute is to train itself to self-entrepreneurship, multilingualism, the use of digital teaching and the establishment of active and aware citizenship.

Besides, our Institute has several extra-curricular activities: citizenship, a library for everyone (PNSD # 24), the psychologist at school, online newspaper “ilbianchini.it”, the cultural exchange Italy-Russia, meetings with authors, school orientation, environmental education, food education and correct lifestyles, photographic laboratory, STEM laboratories, inclusion projects for BES / DSA students (assisted interventions with animals, listening desk, sports activities). In our Institute it is possible to acquire the following certifications: EIPASS, Cambridge, Delf, Fit in Deutsch and Dele.
